Padded flight suit

The padded flight suit was a type of armor favored by starfighter pilots all over the galaxy. The one-piece flight suit protected the wearer from a variety of conditions including decompression, g-forces, and harmful environments. Though not specifically designed for it, the armor was protective in combat to a limited degree. These suits came standard with a matching helmet and gloves that would complete an airtight seal, allowing the wearer to survive for up to 10 hours in a hostile environment. The padded flight suit typically cost 800 credits and weighed roughly 5 kg.
