Parking Conservation Fund

The Parking Conservation Fund (PCF) was a fund that was dedicated to saving and adding parking lots all over the planet Coruscant. The PCF's Chair was Lysal Green. In 22 BBY, the fund issued a study after closely examining a decade of urban planning data and traffic trends. Their study predicted parking lots to become extinct in 23 ABY. The PCF recommended planetary budget allotments to the preservation of parking-lands, and for planetary-funded creation of news lots. They recommended different ways Coruscant could alleviate the parking crisis without hindering urban growth, such as erecting two medium-sized lots for every speeder dealership built. The PCF's lobbying attempted to make their recommendations standard civic policy. They scored a victory by stalling the construction of an Ithorian arboretum over the historic Soll's Pay-Later Lot.
