A Polarizing field generator was a large piece of equipment that allowed the use of electronic equipment within an area around the generator in harsh atmospheres, such as the atmosphere of Krykas V. Min Erethen, a scientist working for Arakyd Industries equipped various droids and her workshop, the Sanctum Sanctorum with polarizing field generators while she was stranded on Krykas V.
The polarizing field generators on the Sanctum Sanctorum had a effective radius of fifty meters.
