Porvay Yan

Porvay Yan was a scavenger on the desert planet Jakku who discovered a flight-worthy shuttle attached to a Mon Calamari Cruiser in the Starship Graveyard, an area littered with wrecks dating back to the Battle of Jakku in 5 ABY. Yan traded the shuttle for a ticket offworld and left Jakku. A decade later, the scavenger Rey mentioned Yan in a survival guide that she compiled by 34 ABY while living on Jakku.
