Project Ambition was the codename following the Battle of Endor of Director of Imperial Intelligence Ysanne Isard plot to liquidate the Imperial Ruling Council and dispose of Interim Galactic Emperor Sate Pestage, which would give her complete control of the Galactic Empire. Isard accomplished this by dividing Pestage and the Ruling Council (both physically and in terms of suspicions of allegiance), notably through the bumbling of the Battle of Brentaal and by undermining the Council's support throughout the Imperial Military.
