Qel-Droma Epics

Legends Canon version → Linked from 3 articles

Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

The Qel-Droma Epics were a series of epic poems that described the stories of Empress Teta's Unification Wars, the Great Sith War and the life of its central figure, Jedi Knight-turned-Sith Lord Ulic Qel-Droma. For many residents of Empress Teta, the Epics were taken as literal history, and the Great Library of Cinnagar contained a museum dedicated to the Epics.

In the wake of the rise of the Galactic Empire and the destruction of the Jedi, scholars believed that Ilia Orpin's "Revan Mythologies" were an updated derivative reworking of the Qel-Droma Epics to better acculturate Jedi younglings of the day.
