The Republic Security and Deep Space Monitory Act was a law passed by the Galactic Republic. Section 12a of the act granted Republic agents "observational authority" over various regions; Tythan Phomm held observational authority over the Nikto Sector, a district of the neutral moon Nar Shaddaa, during the Cold War.
