A robo-dumpster was an automated, unmanned vehicle used mainly in urban areas to perform refuse collection operations. Depending on the model's Cyber pilot system, internal guidance mechanism and computer capacity, they could be pre-programmed to perform their primary tasks without Human supervision. In some cases, they were remotely controlled through radio-transmitted instructions to the vehicles computer. As with all computer-automated vehicles, the robo-dumpster was monitored by Traffic Central.
