The Rocanar were a sentient species native to the planet Rocantor. When Human colonists arrived on the world around 500 BBY, they fell victim to a plague that was originally carried by the Rocanar. After the disease ran its course, killing scores of sentients, the Human Rocantori took control of the planet and banned all non-Humans from living there. The surviving Rocanar were sold into slavery off world.
