Rodian batwing
Legends
Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.
The Rodian batwing was a flying creature native to Rodia. Xaverri used a flock of Rodian batwings in her magic act, transporting them from on glassine cage to another in a burst of smoke and flame. One of Palpatine's Senatorial critics claimed to be being chased by a flame-eyed, snake-tongued Rodian batwing when he was found on the roof of the Imperial Bank on Coruscant. The critic was suffering from dementia induced by being poisoned by a Scarab Mark VI assassin droid.
