Rules of Audience

The Rules of Audience were a set of rules that were enforced by Gar, a Gamorrean who acted as the bodyguard of the Squib crime lord Slythor, on the planet of Korad. The rules required that individuals who visited Slythor should address the Squib as "Highest Exalted Ruler," that they should only speak when asked a direct question by Slythor, that no-one should touch the Squib and that no-one was to lie to Slythor. Anyone who broke the rules was struck by Gar with his vibroglaive.

During the Galactic Civil War, a group of Rebel Alliance agents traveled to Korad to speak with Slythor and prior to their meeting with the Squib, Gar explained the Rules of Audience to them.
