Rumbler was the local name for a rolling walkway used for pedestrian transportation on the planet Ayceezee. In the affluent university town where Ayceezee Public College was located, rumblers allowed pedestrians to travel without walking by carrying them past nearby buildings and residences. Glowrods installed beneath the walkways provided illumination.
In 44 ABY, Professor Voort saBinring used a rumbler to travel from his office to his home after work.
