Rutan prison

Legends Linked from 1 article

Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

This prison was located on the planet Rutan.

Sometime in 45 BBY, Prince Leed was forced to spend a night in the prison when he angered his father, King Frane, by insisting that he wanted to stay in Senali instead of assuming the throne. During his stay in the prison, Leed discovered a flaw in the prison's sensors. He was able to use this flaw a year later when he, along with his friend Drenna, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi, infiltrated the prison to rescue the imprisoned Yaana, the daughter of Senali's king, Meenon.
