Rysais Producers Co-operative

Rysais Producers Co-operative was a large rysais-producing agricultural co-operative on the planet Kothlis.

The city-like complex was located south of the capital Tal'cara, at the feet of the Ragnook Mountains. The area had been deforested, and the nearby mountains had been terraced to support huge farm fields. Other than a few thousands of workers, most being were droids and other machinery.

Its manager was Ithorian Director of Agriculture Thanek, under the Consul of Natural Resources of the Bothan Colonial Board.

Despite their large production quantities, the co-operative made very little profit and had to rely on government subsidization. This was because rysais was an essential foodstuff for the colony.
