Sands in Winter

Legends

Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

The Talz thief Muftak released an autobiographical novel entitled Sands in Winter. Despite being regarded as simple on his homeworld of Tatooine, the Talz developed enough eloquence to tell his story about how his larval sack was accidentally loaded onto an Imperial freighter going to the planet. The book became a best seller and ensured that Muftak and his adopted Chadra-Fan daughter Kabe would never have to worry about credits again.
