Sandstorm Unit was a three-member military unit, part of the 28-member Scandium Team of the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
Sandstorm Unit specialized in desert infiltration. The three members included three Ebranite sisters, Rith Tar'ak, Nyik and Tor'ara. Rith was considered the best desert infiltrator of the Tar'aks, although she rejected the use of blasters preferring other, more primitive weapons.
