Seumadic fever was a disease that caused an afflicted's heart to deteriorate.

Han Solo once lied to a gunman about Chewbacca having Seumadic fever as a child. Chewbacca played along and pretended he was about to collapse, which gave Solo the opportunity to wrest the blaster out of the gunman's hands.
