Shanahan, sometimes known as Dewback Shanahan, was a fringer living in the Cularin system in the years before the Clone Wars. He was known to appreciate alcoholic drinks and good tales, and sometimes he "arranged" favors in exchange for each or both.

Shanahan attended to the SoroSuub Anniversary celebration, 31 BBY in Tolea Biqua, Genarius.
