A shock generator, also known as a shock charge generator, was a type of specialized weapon. The generator modulated electrical charges that could be used to paralyze and capture targets, as well as control crowds. Nonlethal shock generators could be fitted to melee weapons such as stun batons, shock nets, and blast shields, as well as shock collars.
