Silver general

A silver general was a component of the board game shogi. While aboard the light freighter Poor Crow, the former Sith known as the Ronin and the storyteller known as the Traveler played several games of shogi in which the Traveler always began cheating after the first few turns, though the Ronin never commented on it. During one game, they cheated by sliding one of their silver generals into the board's promotion zone. The Ronin considered it to be an audacious maneuver, but he had been unable to see the Traveler do it.
