Sith robe

A type of traditional dark clothing of the Sith, such as Sith robes and Sith cloaks, worn by members of the Sith to conceal their identities when they are in hiding and allow them to roam freely. During the High Republic Era, when Jedi Knight Ram Jomaram returned to his homeworld, Valo, wearing a fake Sith cloak, he found the domed roof very difficult for him to climb while wearing it. Darth Maul wore a Sith robe during his time as Darth Sidious's Sith apprentice, until his defeat on Naboo. Sheev Palpatine disguised himself as the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, his true identity, by wearing Sith robes made of black-patterned traditional zeyd-cloth. No longer hiding in the shadows after the fall of the Jedi Order, Palpatine wore the cloak in public without fully announcing his status as a Sith Master.
