Smokescreen was a gaseous toxin developed as a chemical weapon by Ardus Industries. Exposure to a very minor form of the toxin could cause numbness in the body and other minor symptoms, while prolonged exposure to smokescreen caused paralysis, nerve damage, and finally complete liquefaction of organs.
