The SRG-87 railgun drone was a drone produced by Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc. during the Galactic War that could be carried as a payload by bombers. Designed as a cheap alternative to full-sized gunships, the SRG-87 was mounted with a rail gun that provided short-duration, long-range fire against enemy starships.
