The Canyon was an area of the Karthakk system, home of the Corsair thug faction, a mercilessness band of hooligans promising to wreak havoc on any passing civilian or vessel. During the time of the Galactic Civil War, it was not uncommon to see a Corsair looting its latest victim and speeding off to find another.
