The Clone Wars Episode Guides

The Clone Wars Episode Guides are free articles on StarWars.com that provided an in-depth look into the episodes of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series. They were first introduced on October 3, 2008 after the release of Ambush, the first episode in the series. Normally a preview of the actual guide was released before the episode airs, which contained only a link to the episode preview, short synopsis and release information. After the airing of the episode the guide was updated with most of its content and then, about a week later, it got updated one more time with the link to the actual episode streaming on StarWars.com.

In September of 2011, all episode guides were removed from StarWars.com following the site's redesign. They were replaced with brand-new guides.

As of now, the episode guides usually consist of; the moral quoted (the statement which appears during the theme music, after the introductory graphic, of the series, and before the actual episode begins); a synopsis; a StarWars.com article, from a published series, The Clone Wars Rewatch; videos (which included a highlight clip from the subject episode and bonus behind-the-scene featurette content) and the gallery (which features, a Episode Gallery, Concept Art Gallery and Trivia Gallery, which includes otherwise unknown production information).
