Third Cadence

Canon Linked from 1 article

The Third Cadence was a cadence taught to Jedi students during the High Republic Era. By 234 BBY, during his Jedi training, the fifteen-year-old human Douglas Sunvale was unable to fully understand the Third Cadence.

Between 233 BBY and 232 BBY, after the Mirialan Padawan Vernestra Rwoh had become a Jedi Knight at fifteen, she traveled to the outpost Port Haileap on the Outer Rim planet Haileap and was greeted by Sunvale—by then a Jedi Master—who congratulated her on passing her Jedi Trials at such a young age. The Jedi Master then told Rwoh that when he was her age, he had still been trying to figure out the Third Cadence. After Sunvale was killed during a Nihil attack in 232 BBY, Rwoh thought about the Jedi Master and mentally recalled the time he had told her about his struggle to grasp the Third Cadence.
