A tracking camera was a camera device on the Millennium Falcon which allowed the user to observe the surfaces of nearby planets. Han Solo used the tracking camera to observe the lower levels of Kashyyyk to locate the missing Wookiee Lumpawarrump, after his mother, Mallatobuck sent thought-waves to Chewbacca, who was on the Millennium Falcon, to tell him that Lumpawarrump was missing. Solo adjusted the dials, buttons, and knobs of the tracking camera and aimed the camera until the lower levels of Kashyyyk came into view on the viewscreen.
