Unidentified entrepreneur

An eccentric entrepreneur financed an expedition into the Maw, a cluster of black holes in the Outer Rim Territories' Kessel sector by 3643 BBY. The purpose of the expedition was to attempt to chart a course through the Maw.

Around that year, an individual affiliated with one of the two rival governments in the Cold War, fought between the reconstituted Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, sent a companion of theirs to join the expedition. The entrepreneur's journey into the Maw resulted in many previously uncharted star systems and worlds being catalogued while mapping a course.
