Vastadon

A vastadon was a type of creature. The big game hunter Iothene Jacontro and his crew were convinced that the mountains of the planet Vandor concealed a living vastadon that dwelt on the Jirree Glacier. Obsessed with tracking it down, Jacontro returned to the Lodge at Fort Ypso on Vandor each year to brave the wilderness, even after losing an arm to gangrene on what many at the Lodge considered a fool's quest. The Lodge's bartender, Tivoche Bilure, wrote about Jacontro's obsession with the vastadon in a book.
