Veshok wood

Veshok wood was a type of hard and sturdy wood hewn from the veshok trees of Mandalore. Veshok wood possessed a grain similar to that of oak trees, and produced a large amount of heat when burned. Due to the large number of veshok trees that grew on Mandalore—with sprawling veshok forests covering most of Mandalore's northern hemisphere, stretching nearly as far as the planet's polar ice cap—veshok wood became a favored material for Mandalorian craftsmen to work with. Over the ages, veshok wood was used in the construction of homes, furniture, outdoor fencing, and even handcrafted toys for young Mandalorian children.
