Vheks were creatures found on the Mid Rim planet Qiilura that were known to be preyed upon by packs of gdans. In 22 BBY, the Gurlanin Jinart asked the Omega Squad's clone commandos if they had ever dragged an intact vhek home for a meal, indicating that gdans worked together to catch one of the creatures and then dragged their bounty away via large tunnels.
