Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

The Vordebeast was a non-sentient predatory creature that lived during the Republic Dark Age. Following the Bequest, the Sith Lord Arkadia Calimondra attempted to recruit the Jedi Knight Kerra Holt as an assassin to kill her grandmother Vilia Calimondra, the matriarch of the Calimondra family. During the meeting, Kerra likened the Sith woman's movements to that of a "vordebeast" as she maneuvered through the museum's pylons.
