Legends

Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

A whipsting was a Yuuzhan Vong bio-weapon. It consisted of a long cord coiled inside the sac of a shaper's hand. When touched, the living cord would eject at a target. The end of it was tipped with a deadly spine that gave a poisonous injection.
