Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

An abandoned castle stood north of Theed, the Human capital city of the Mid Rim planet Naboo. The castle lay next to a body of water, had tan walls, and consisted of spherical structures that had green roofs. The base of the castle contained a studio with an angled roof and a large window, with numerous framed portraits on its walls.

During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems from 22 BBY to 19 BBY, a reclusive Human Naboo artist lived and worked in the studio painting suns and moons. After encountering Naboo's senator, Padmé Amidala, at a bazaar on the outskirts of Theed, the artist returned to his studio and obsessively painted images of her for twenty-four straight weeks, covering the walls with his portraits. Eventually, the artist had a revelation that Amidala's life was in danger, and returned to Theed to save her life from a Separatist attack.
