The Alderbathe Monastery was located in the Alderbathe system of the Mid Rim's Churnis sector.
At one point during the Galactic Civil War, the grandfather of one of a group of individuals addressed a note to their grandchild in which they bequeathed to them a credit voucher of one hundred thousand credits. However—despite claiming that the grandchild was free to do with the money as they wished—the grandfather also noted that they had to join the Alderbathe Monastery for life and also give all the credits to them.
