The Ancient Prison Approach was a volcanic rift spanned by a bridge located in the Maximum Security Section on Belsavis. The bridge connected MaxSec to the Rakatan complex designated the Maximum Security thoroughfare, which in turn led to the Ancient Prison Caverns, but after the Sith Empire's attack on the planet the Approach was occupied by the hostile Esh-kha species.
