Ascaal district was a region of the moon Toshara that included the Ascada River. In 3 ABY, unusually high rainfall occurred during a hurricane, causing authorities to predict flooding in the district a week later. Holonet News Toshara wind report presenter Botto Fna announced this forecast over a HoloNet News report and advised any listeners who were going to travel near the river to plan an alternate route instead.
