Bay 2 was a hangar aboard the First Order Resurgent-class Star Destroyer Thunderer. In 34 ABY, the Resistance pilot Venisa Doza and her astromech droid Torch entered the bay, hoping to escape off of the Star Destroyer. Torch planted explosives on a nearby TIE fighter and detonated them, causing a fire to spread in the hangar.
