During the Clone Wars, a ceremonial chamber in the Coruscant tower was used by Darth Sidious and Darth Tyranus, known publicly as Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic Sheev Palpatine and Count Dooku, respectively to undertake a ritual. The room contained numerous statues and an altar at the center.
