Corridor G147

Corridor G147, also known as sector G147, was an area of space within the Roche asteroid field in the Roche system. During the blockade of the Roche system, corridor G147 was guarded by a single Imperial EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate. Commander Gial Ackbar intended to use corridor G147 as an escape route from the star system for the Verpine fleet and prototype A/SF-01 B-wing starfighters. Following the destruction of Research Station Shantipole, Ackbar was forced to lead the unarmed Verpine fleet into a one-sided battle against the escort frigate until the arrival of Alliance operatives flying the prototype B-wing starfighters. The new starfighters managed to disable the vessel and allow the Verpine fleet to escape.
