Cortosis mine

During the Clone Wars, pro-separatist Duke Solha built a cortosis mine following the orders of the Separatist movement's Head of State, Count Dooku orders, the mine was built to extract cortosis from the planet Mokivj, the mine was located near a river and the Mokivj droid factory, where the cortosis was refined and used to manufacture cortosis B2 super battle droids. During the attack on the factory, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala and Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo or Thrawn destroyed the mine and a section of the factory in an effort to cancel any possibilities of the Separatists constructing more cortosis battle droids or Clone armor. The destruction of the factory and the mine rendered Mokivj barren, and activated volcanic activity that destroyed the grasslands and best croplands of the planet.
