The Crystal Fields were an area located on the planet Mustafar, in the northern portion of the Crystal Flats region. It was formed when the orbit of Mustafar suddenly shifted, causing the world to tear itself apart. The crystals sprouted up virtually over night while it should normally take millions of years to form on other worlds. These crystals gave its name to the entire Crystal Flats.
