The Dantooine Imperial base, also known as the Imperial Bunker, located in the Taikaha Hills region of the planet Dantooine was in operation during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Under the control of the Galactic Empire, this bunker served as the base of operations for Generals Kehel Sinan and Stromgald Rholar, as well as an Imperial assassin named Barthis Belangus. After it was realized that the generals posed a dire threat to the Alliance to Restore the Republic, and Belangus had intentions of assassinating General Jan Dodonna and Gial Ackbar, Mon Mothma tasked a Rebel operative with killing the three of them.
