Detention Center A

Detention Center A was a Galactic Empire prison on the planet Kessel. The camp also consisted of five Imperial fortresses and other military buildings. After the Empire lost the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, it was decided to abandon Kessel and the atmosphere factories were shut down. The slaves from Detention Center A were forced to keep working in the thinning air. Shortly after, a Wookiee army led by Chewbacca, Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, and Luke Skywalker arrived on Kessel and re-powered the atmosphere factories and liberated the slaves from Detention Center A, Detention Center B, and Detention Center C.
