Drilling Platform Duba was a mining platform attached to the northeastern corner of the Cartel mining mesa on the planet Makeb. One of six mining platforms attached to the mesa by the Hutt Cartel, the platform used a mining laser to drill into the planet's core for isotope-5. During the conflict, Galactic Republic forces attacked the platform and shut down the laser to halt its damaging of the planet's core.
