The Esus Mesa was a stone mesa located in the Jundland Chasm on the planet Tatooine that was connected to nearby cliffs by a stone bridge. In 3643 BBY, during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, the Sith Lord Praven challenged a young Jedi Knight to a lightsaber duel atop the Esus Mesa, where the Jedi defeated Praven in combat.
