Galactic Academy of Sciences

The Galactic Academy of Sciences was a scientific academy located on the Galactic Republic capital, the Core Worlds planet Coruscant. During the High Republic Era, the human scientist Avon Starros enrolled at the academy, where she was taught by the Lannik professor Hastmon Chross. While there, Starros' course analyzed reasons why attempted cures for the affliction known as the blight had failed, though she believed it was more important for them to look for what would work instead.
