The Gansett Zoo was a zoo in the Gansett system within the Mid Rim which notably contained a reptile house. At some point, the hunter Sam Heggs had visited the zoo's reptile house, which he was not particularly fond of. Around 3 ABY, Heggs was present during a shootout at Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina in the city Mos Eisley on the planet Tatooine. After the altercation had ended, Heggs left the cantina, exclaiming that it was worse than the Gansett Zoo's reptile house.
