The Gen'Dai vault was one of many Rakatan vaults that were uncovered on the planet Belsavis by the Galactic Republic during the construction of Belsavis prison. The vault was used by the Republic to incarcerate inmates of the Gen'Dai species, though they escaped during the battle with the Sith Empire.
