Glussa Island

Glussa Island was the largest island of the Gluss'elta Archipelago on the Outer Rim planet Kintan. The barren rock-stewn island was situated on the western coast of the Gluss'elta Sea near the volcanic Burning Moon Range. Around 5000 BBY, the Numol'elrul, a subspecies of Kintan's native Nikto, cut of all contact with their fellow Nikto and made a home beneath Glussa Island. Over the next five thousand years, the Numol'elrul thrived in isolation as they built a sprawling complex into the island's bedrock. By the time of the Galactic Empire, Numol'elrul had become only a legend to the rest of Kintan's population which had built several fishing villages on the island.
